On Monday, John and I teamed up with Matt Frith and Al Clerico for a scramble tournament with teams that featured the 2010 US Open Champion Grame Mcdowell, several Hooters Tour players and LPGA Tour players vying for the 10,000 first place prize money.

The tournament was played at Timacuan Country Club, a tight and tree-lined course with tricky greens.

Be Spiritually Fed, Not Emotionally Driven

My Dad told me this quote when I was talking to him on Sunday night.  We always have long talks every Sunday night to talk about the week's ups and downs.  I was telling him how I felt about my golf game.  I told him I felt like my game is not where I want it to be and that I am questioning myself.

My Dad told me not to base my results on where I feel I am right now with my game but make my assessment of where I am based on my faith and belief in God and in His plan for me and putting in the work that is required of me.

I woke up early Saturday morning very excited because I was about to play in a scramble tournament with the Swingtime Golf team of Alan Duval, Robert Dooley, John and myself. It was a chilly morning as we warmed up but it soon made way to a beautiful, sunny day.

The place was buzzing with excitement and a lot of people were pumped up and ready to play some golf. The course was in tremendous shape and a lot of pins were in good spots.

You are not getting good, you are getting better!

The first week back after the 4th corporate challenge at Doral was anticipated to be a busy one. Kevin and I were scheduled to start working out six days a week as well as working in the corporate office. I was excited to get a schedule and have a daily routine focused on getting better everyday.

I was proud of my assessment because I gave it my best effort.

Hello to all! As I sit here getting ready to write my blog, I can't help but notice that the week went by so fast. There wasn't a day this week that I didn't waste a second. I finally got to put in a lot of work on my game as well as the physical training with Coach TA.

It was a long but very productive week. Monday started with a good breakfast and some work early in the morning. After I got some things done for the day, I went over to Mystic Dunes to meet with Matt Frith.

Activation Week

Hello all! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year celebrations. I had a great time at home with family and friends. There was a lot of food and a lot of laughs. I got some workouts in as well and after a long drive back to Orlando, I had to ease into the process of getting back to work.

It was a very cold Sunday morning and I decided to give myself the morning to get some rest in to recover from the drive.
